Synopsis:
The Slap, is a documentary that follows the journey of Iranian filmmaker, Khashayar Ghaffarieh and the challenges he faced when he immigrated to America. More specifically, it is about how an event that occurred during Khashayar’s childhood went on to define the rest of his life. This event is known as the slap and it is about the day Khashayar’s grandma, Fariba, smacked a perv on the streets of Shiraz, Iran.
